Neel Saraswati Stotram is a very effective and divine hymn, through which you can get knowledge and wisdom by getting the grace of Mother Saraswati.
Reciting Neel Saraswati Stotram pleases the Goddess very quickly. Anyone whose mind is not engaged in studies or has problems in studying etc should recite this stotra with full devotion.
॥ नील सरस्वती स्तोत्र ॥
घोररूपे महारावे सर्वशत्रुभयङ्करि।
भक्तेभ्यो वरदे देवि त्राहि मां शरणागतम्। ॥1॥
Meaning – Oh Goddess, who has a terrible appearance, who makes a loud noise, who terrifies all the enemies and who gives boons to the devotees! You protect me who takes refuge.
ॐ सुरासुरार्चिते देवि सिद्धगन्धर्वसेविते।
जाड्यपापहरे देवि त्राहि मां शरणागतम्। ॥2॥
Meaning – Worshiped by gods and demons, served by Siddhas and Gandharvas and destroyer of inertia and sin! You protect me who takes refuge.
जटाजूटसमायुक्ते लोलजिह्वान्तकारिणि।
द्रुतबुद्धिकरे देवि त्राहि मां शरणागतम्। ॥3॥
Meaning – O Goddess who is adorned with Jatajut, who turns the fickle tongue inwards, who sharpens the intellect! You protect me who takes refuge.
सौम्यक्रोधधरे रुपे चण्डरूपे नमोऽस्तु ते।
सृष्टिरुपे नमस्तुभ्यं त्राहि मां शरणागतम्। ॥4॥
Meaning – Oh Goddess, who has mild anger, who is the best deity, who is fierce in form! Greetings to you. O creator of the universe! Greetings to you, protect me who takes refuge.
जडानां जडतां हन्ति भक्तानां भक्तवत्सला।
मूढ़तां हर मे देवि त्राहि मां शरणागतम्। ॥5॥
Meaning – You destroy the foolishness of the fools and are a boon for the devotees. O Goddess! You defeat my foolishness and protect me who takes refuge.
वं ह्रूं ह्रूं कामये देवि बलिहोमप्रिये नमः।
उग्रतारे नमो नित्यं त्राहि मां शरणागतम्। ॥6॥
Meaning – O Goddess in the form of Beej Mantras! I wish to see you. O Goddess who is pleased with sacrifice and home! Greetings to you. O fierce stars who save us from fierce calamities! Greetings to you always, may you protect me who takes refuge.
बुद्धिं देहि यशो देहि कवित्वं देहि देहि मे।
मूढ़त्वं च हरेद्देवि त्राहि मां शरणागतम्। ॥7॥
Meaning – O Goddess! You give me wisdom, fame, poetic power and destroy my stupidity. You protect me who takes refuge.
इन्द्रादिविलसद्द्वन्द्ववन्दिते करुणामयि।
तारे ताराधिनाथास्ये त्राहि मां शरणागतम्। ॥8॥
Meaning: O Goddess Tara, whose beautiful feet are worshiped by Indra and others, who is full of compassion, whose face is like the moon and who saves the world! You protect me, the one who takes refuge in you.
अष्टम्यां च चतुर्दश्यां नवम्यां यः पठेन्नरः।
षण्मासैः सिद्धिमाप्नोति नात्र कार्या विचारणा। ॥9॥
Meaning – The person who recites this stotra on Ashtami, Navami and Chaturdashi Tithi, he attains success in six months, there should be no doubt about it.
मोक्षार्थी लभते मोक्षं धनार्थी लभते धनम्।
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां तर्कव्याकरणादिकम्। ॥10॥
Meaning – By reciting this one who wishes for salvation attains salvation, one who seeks wealth obtains wealth and one who seeks knowledge acquires the knowledge of knowledge and logic – grammar etc.
इदं स्तोत्रं पठेद्यस्तु सततं श्रद्धयाऽन्वितः।
तस्य शत्रुः क्षयं याति महाप्रज्ञा प्रजायते। ॥11॥
Meaning – The person who constantly recites this stotra with devotion, his enemy is destroyed and great intelligence emerges in him.
पीडायां वापि संग्रामे जाड्ये दाने तथा भये।
य इदं पठति स्तोत्रं शुभं तस्य न संशयः। ॥12॥
Meaning – The person who recites this hymn in distress, in war, in the state of foolishness, at the time of charity and in the state of fear, he gets welfare, there is no doubt about it.
इति प्रणम्य स्तुत्वा च योनिमुद्रां प्रदर्शयेत्। ॥13॥
Meaning: After thus praising, one should bow to the goddess and show her the vaginal posture.
