Overview of Saraswati Mantra
Saraswati Puja is celebrated in Hindu culture. It is the most important festival in Bengal. It is said that this festival was celebrated to please the goddess with learning and knowledge. People pray for Saraswati’s blessings and she listens to them. She also grants her followers with good luck during this period.
For many Hindus, Vasant Panchami or Saraswati Puja is the festival dedicated to goddess Saraswati who is their goddess of knowledge, language, music, and all arts. She symbolizes creative energy and power in all its form, including longing and love. The season and festival also celebrate the agricultural fields’ ripening with yellow flowers of mustard crop, which Hindus associate with Saraswati’s favorite color. Many Indian restaurants choose to paint their walls yellow, bring in yellow utensils, etc. Some people will eat foods that are highly colored or made with saffron.

ওঁ জয়জয় দেবী চরাচর সারে
কুচযুগশোভিত মুক্তাহারে,
বীনারঞ্জিত পুস্তক হস্তে
ভগবতী ভারতী দেবী নমহস্তুতে।।
নমঃ ভদ্রকাল্যৈ নমো নিত্যং
সরস্বত্যৈ নমো নমঃ।
বেদ বেদাঙ্গ বেদান্ত বিদ্যা স্হানেভ্য এব চ।
এষ স-চন্দন পুষ্পবিল্ব পত্রাঞ্জলি সরস্বতৈ নমঃ।।

নমো সরস্বতী মহাভাগে
বিদ্যে কমললোচনে,
বিশ্বরূপে বিশালাক্ষ্মী
বিদ্যাংদেহী নমোহস্তুতে .
জয়জয় দেবী চরাচর সারে
কুচযুগশোভিত মুক্তাহারে
বীনারঞ্জিত পুস্তক হস্তে
ভগবতী ভারতী দেবী নমহস্তুতে।।
সরস্বতীর স্তব মন্ত্র :
শ্বেতপদ্মাসনা দেবী শ্বেত পুষ্পোপশোভিতা
শ্বেতাম্ভরধরা নিত্যা শ্বেতাগন্ধানুলেপনা
শ্বেতাক্ষসূত্রহস্তা চ শ্বেতচন্দনচর্চ্চিতা।
শ্বেতবীণাধরা শুভ্রা শ্বেতালঙ্কারবভূষিতা।
বন্দিতা সিদ্ধগন্ধর্ব্বৈর্চ্চিতা দেবদানবৈঃ
পূঝিতা মুনিভি: সর্ব্বৈঋষিভিঃ স্তূয়তে সদা
স্তোত্রেণানেন তাং দেবীং জগদ্ধাত্রীং সরস্বতীম্।
যে স্মরতি ত্রিসন্ধ্যায়ং সর্ব্বাং বিদ্যাং লভন্তি তে।।

তেরি রূপ, ভয়ো সব বিদ্যা
সুর-নর চরণ নমাই,
পদ্মনাভ প্রভু, চরণ শরোরুহ
