This song was accepted as the flag song in the Congress session in 1938, this melodious song has been written by Shyamlal Gupta Parshad ji.
Shyamlal Gupt Parshad ji was born on 16 September 1893 in a Vaish family at Narwal in Kanpur. Since childhood, he could not achieve higher education due to poverty, but the spirit of patriotism was so high within him that he used to express it through his poems. After this he also became Congress District President in 1923.
