- ABCD is a circumscribed quadrilateral. The extended sides AB and DC intersect at point P. Prove – PA * PB = PC * PD
- ABC is an isosceles triangle with ∠C right angle. If D is any point on AB, prove that AD2 + BD2=2CD2
Arithmetic
- Supriya, Uma and Megha started a business with capital of Rs 6000, Rs 8000 and Rs 9000 respectively. After a few months Supriya invested another 3000 rupees. At the end of the year the total profit was Rs.3000 and Megha got a dividend of Rs.1080. Find out when Supriyo invested Rs.3000.

- The hypotenuses of the right angles of a right triangle are 6 m and 4 m respectively. Find the volume and surface area of the cone formed by rotating the hypotenuse of the right triangle about its axis.
- A right circular cone has height 20 cm and base radius 4 cm. The cone is bisected by a plane parallel to the ground through the mid-height. What is the volume of the base of the cone?
- A solid perpendicular circular rod of cross-sectional radius of length 3.2 decm is melted to form 21 solid spheres. The radius of the spherical rods is 8 cm, but what is the length of the rod?
- Find the ratio of the volumes of a right circular cone, a right circular cone and a sphere of equal length diameter and equal height.
- When the angle of elevation of the sun changes from 45° to 60°, the length of the shadow of a telegraph pole changes by 4 m. Find the length of the shadow of the pillar when the angle of elevation is 30°.
- The heights of the two pillars are 180 meters and 60 meters respectively. If the angle of elevation of the base of the second pillar to the top of the first is 60°, find the angle of elevation of the base of the first to the top of the second.
