Online Portal for AFD Item Acquisition Inaugurated by Raksha Mantri 2023

Shri Rajnath Singh, the Raksha Mantri, inaugurated an online portal at https://afd.csdindia.gov.in/ that enables the acquisition of items Against Firm Demand (AFD) from CSD Canteens.

The purpose of launching this Online Portal is to provide approximately 45 lakh CSD beneficiaries, including serving and retired individuals from the armed forces and serving civilian defense employees, the ability to purchase AFD-I items such as cars, motorcycles, washing machines, TVs, fridges, etc., from the convenience of their home

CSD AFD Online Portal is Absolutely Free
Availing Services on CSD-AFD online Portal is absolutely free. In case, anyone asks for any money for registration/filling form on the portal or getting supply order released, it should be immediately reported to ddgcs@csdindia.gov.in

Steps to Register as an Existing User on afd.csdindia.gov.in

Existing users who are registered with the Afd Portal are required to follow these instructions:

1. Go to this page – https://afd.csdindia.gov.in/login/
   
2. Verify your email ID.
   
3. Update your pay-level by selecting the “Update Registration Form” option from the menu. Please note that this can only be done between 6:00 PM and 10:00 AM daily.
   
4. Any changes made will require approval from the Office of DDGCS.
   
5. After completing the above steps, existing users will be able to place demands through the portal.

AFD CSD: An important notification on afd.csdindia.gov.in

Note 1 Dear Beneficiary, Please Note That W.E.F – 01/10/2022 Applicability Of Compensation Cess On Csd Outward Supplies On Four Wheelers & Two Wheelers (As Applicable) Is Being Implemented By Csd Ho. Hence There Will Be A Slight Increase In Selling Cost Of The Vehicles Due To Gst Implications.

For Kind Attention Of Beneficiaries Due To Price Revision Underway By The Oems, Water Purifier And Led/Lcd/Plasma Are Currently Not Available For Sale. Efforts Are Being Made With The Oems To Update Prices At The Earliest. Inconvenience Is Sincerely Regretted.

Note 2 The Images In The Portal Are Not Actual. Beneficiaries May Visit Respective Oems Website Or Dealers Showroom To Know/See The Actual Product And Image.

Note 3 If An Item/Index Is Not Visible In The Portal Means That The Selling Rate Is Not Submitted By Oem Due To Changes In Model/Price/Production Issue Etc. Such Items Will Be Available For Sale As And When Rates Are Received & Updated In Portal.

Note 4 For All Refund Cases, Csd Beneficiary Have To Submit An Application To Nominated Urc Along With An Affidavit Mentioning The Reason For Refund, Canceled Cheque For Bank Details For Refunding The Amount, Original Copy Of Po And Authority Letter & Proof Of Payments Made (Utr No, Etc.) For Processing Refund By Urc & Concerned Csd Depots.
